steady steps


A Falls Prevention Program was initiated by Queensland Keep Fit Association. Steady Steps was supported and developed by the Queensland Health and Sport and Recreation Queensland and Fitness Queensland to achieve a more physically active and informed older community. Ten week courses focus on improvements in falls prevention knowledge, stamina, balance, reaction time, flexibility and strength to assist in enhancing independence, confidence, quality of life and well-being of participants.
