Program concentrates on strength training exercises using spin lock dumbbells weights or free weights. Characteristics include warm-up, overload, frequency, specificity, reversibility, progression, and cool down with flexibility exercises. The program is designed to improve muscular strength and bone density in order to prevent or minimize the effects of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis.
